In this episode of The Web of Queer, we discuss Capaldi’s first outing of the Doctor in “Deep Breath.” From the theatre screening bonus clip to the episode's cryptic mystery, we have thoughts about it all. After, we dive into a conversation about what we would like to see represented in the show, what kind of characters we might like to see portrayed, and maybe what we think is missing from the ones we have already.

I've really liked this episode and this podcast, it's so great to have a Doctor Who podcast with this perspective. But, speaking as an ace, there is one misconception that you kept unintentionally assuming is true. That aces don't have sex or sexual relations because we have a lack of sexual attraction. Some of us do have sex for various reasons, there are even asexual parents and asexual sex workers. Some even just like sex, we just don't feel sexual attraction. Just something to know for next time, I am glad you brought up asexuality.
